The Lakeshore Football Association and Kinatex Sports Physio Pierrefonds have signed a partnership for the 2021 season! Kinatex Sports Physio, leader in rehabilitation in Quebec, will be offering the best quality care treatments to your children.
Certified athletic therapists representing Kinatex Pierrefonds, will cover all the home and away games as well as the practices for the following teams: Bantam, Peewee, Mosquito and Atom.
Kinatex Pierrefonds will offer 24-48 hours priority access for athletic therapy and physiotherapy services, should the athletes need to be treated in clinic. Kinatex Pierrefonds is happy to offer the athletes a preferential rate of $10 off in athletic therapy and $5 off all other services: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, massotherapy, and kinesiology. An insurance receipt will be issued for any treatment intervention administered by a healthcare professional.
All athletes will undergo concussion baseline testing at the beginning of the season. The athletic therapist will be in communication daily with any athlete that has sustained a concussion as per our concussion return to play guidelines.
A virtual parents’ night will be scheduled at the beginning of the season. Parents will meet Natasha Godbout, associate at Kinatex Pierrefonds, and Certified Athletic Therapist. Natasha will answer any questions that you may have regarding different injuries, return to play protocols, and the services they can offer. The date and time of the virtual night will be communicated in the coming weeks.
